I need all outstanding work by Friday or it will become a 0 in the grade book! -Binders returned- we will not do a binder check for No Country for Old Men but I encourage you to keep up the binder for review for the IOC. -Review "Hamlet" IOC- (see attached) -Begin working with No Country- review ppgs. 1-61 through handout. Establish characters/style and motifs Homework: Read ppgs 62-89. Consider something that you have noticed in the novel, for example that Bell's character is a paradox or that Moss fully understands the risk he takes by taking the $ but does it anyway, or that McCarthy's characterizes his characters completely through action and not through thought. Find a passage or two which really reflects what you notice. Be ready to work with that passage on Thurs. You might also have a quiz over this reading.....just sayin'.
